Lorena Lozano is an artist and researcher. Her studio explores the relationships between human beings and their environment, from the ecologies of the mind, society and the environment. Through research and artistic practice she develops and manages projects that explore the intersections of art and science. She holds a PhD from the University of Oviedo (2017), a degree in Fine Art (Glasgow School of Art, 2007) and in Biological Sciences (University of Oviedo, 1998). Since 2012 she is project manager at ‘Econodos. Ecología y Comunicación’ and collaborates with entities such as Fundación Cerezales Antonino y Cinia, Universidad de Oviedo and Laboral Centro de Arte in interdisciplinary artistic research projects.
