Graduate in Geology from the University of Oviedo, official tourist guide, mid-mountain technician and Director of Leisure Time.
After dedicating myself to the world of research focused on geomorphology and natural hazards, I started to become aware of the need to disseminate geology to the general public, so in 2011, after producing several geological guides, I redirected my career as a geologist towards a more informative aspect. I regularly attend conferences related to geological heritage, geotourism and the teaching of Earth Sciences. I belong to the Spanish Association for Earth Science Education (AEPECT). To complement my training in the field of tourism and leisure, I have qualified as a Tourist Guide (GT-106), belonging to the Association of Tourist Information Professionals of Asturias (APIT Asturias) and I have graduated in the speciality of Medium Mountain Sports Technician, being a member of the Spanish Association of Mountain Guides (AEGM). As I consider the popularisation of science from an early age to be a fundamental part of my activities, I design, programme and carry out workshops and camps with children where geology and love of nature are the main ingredients.
