Rafael Saravia

Poet, editor and photographer. Born in Málaga in 1978 but has lived in León since an early age.

He has been a columnist for Diario de León since 2012. Founder of the Lethe Cultural Club and Ediciones Leteo, in his work as a cultural manager, has brought great writers to his city.

In the literary field, he has collaborated with various national and international publications (Agora, Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos, Turia, Nayagua, The Children's book of american birds, Entrelíneas, Punto de Partida -UNAM,etc.) as well as in recitals (Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, etc.) and websites.

He has published the poetry collections «Pequeñas conversaciones» (Leteo, 2001; Amargord, 2009), «Desprovisto de Esencias» (Renacimiento, 2008), «Llorar lo alegre» (Bartleby, 2011) and «Carta Blanca» (Calambur, 2013). He participates in
the anthologies «Novilunio» (1998), «Petit Comité» (2003), «Antología del beso, poesía última española» (2009), «A Pablo Guerrero, en este ahora» (Ed. El Páramo, 2010) or «Por donde pasa la poesía» (Baile del Sol, 2011) among others. He edited and wrote the prologue to the book «El río de los amigos, escritura y diálogo en torno a Gamoneda» (Calambur, 2009).

In the field of photography, he has held three individual exhibitions «Nos queda la memoria», in the Warsaw «Ramblas» and «Contrastes» for the Junta de Castilla y León. He has also had four group exhibitions «No tan mayor»,

«Arrabalescos», «Aleteos del camino» and «Estupor y Temblores», the latter with Chema Madoz among others.
