Sumrrá was formed in 2000 and to this day they have hundreds of concerts behind them and four albums, two of them recorded live.
From their inception, Sumrrá captivated critics and audiences alike with an unclassifiable, melodic, and very open jazz style, highlighting the originality of their compositions, the quality of their musicians, and the freshness of their live performances. Sumrrá doesn't concern themselves with trends, labels, or styles. Fifteen years have passed since their formation, which is a significant amount of time in jazz, since this happy reunion, and the trio continues to reinvent themselves and draw inspiration from their members' parallel projects.
