Sara Fontán's classical and contemporary violin and Edi Pou's polyrhythmic energy make up Los Sara Fontan. They have developed part of their artistic career without recording albums, out of militancy, fleeing from the productive routines of the industry. Their terrain is live, always physical, passionate, punk, always changing and permeable to the environment. Sara uses the violin and the keyboard as a starting point, twisting them through electro-acoustic processes to achieve a varied palette of sounds and invoke multiple natures. At his side, Edi Pou (half of ZA!, referents of the European underground) takes on the challenge of converting percussion into melody and tensing the dynamics from the minuscule to the epic, breaking with the Western patterns of classical drumming.Amorante is the personal project of Iban Urizar, a Basque ethnomusicologist and multi-instrumentalist. Adventurous and iconoclastic, a lover of improvisation, he creates a series of compositions that are a true journey through ancestral and avant-garde music. Accompanied by his inseparable trumpet, but also with his mixing pedals, his Indian harmonium and a small synthesizer, his music is a kind of journey where versatility and experimentation are essential. Stripped of all preconceptions, he creates extraordinary mixes, dedicated to the sonority of his varied instruments and his Basque.
