With a degree in Biology from the University of León in 1990, he has extensive experience in the development of museographic and audiovisual projects, environmental education and ecotourism, management of visitor centres, dissemination, training and interpretation of heritage in different Iberian rural areas, especially in the northwest quadrant.
Human ecology, traditional silvopastoral systems and extensive livestock farming are the focus of a large part of his personal and professional interests, especially in the search for meeting points between ancient knowledge and the necessary transformation of social and productive systems and intra- and inter-species relations.
He has created and carried out museographic projects such as the Iberian Pig and the pasture in Guijuelo, the Aula del Asno in Villalcampo, the Ecomuseum of Water in Moral de Sayago, the Memory Corner in the Casa del Parque del Lago de Sanabria, and that of the Natural Park of Babia y Luna, the Centre of the Iberian Wolf of Castilla y León in Robledo de Sanabria or the Ecomuseum of the transhumant merino wool in Salamón.
