Gea. Inhabit in the geology of our region

Since 2008, FCAYC has deployed different series of activities within a line of work called ethnoeducation. This line aims to listen to the territory and the neighborhood in which the Foundation is located and to propose activities and investigations to understand it and to support those initiatives that promote its conservation.

As part of these activity cycles and after having started programs on sky, fungi, birds or plants, in 2016 and together with Carmen Ortega, a geologist with more than 30 years of experience, the concern to study and share the particularities of the ground on which we walk arose. With the design of this program of initiation to geology, we intend to contribute to make public the geological heritage of our region.
