Matter (in)different. Images, futures and open-air ecologies were programmed in the framework of the project On the verge of being nothing, which took place on 7 and 8 October 2021, while the exhibition was still open in the hall.
They were organised by the Foundation, together with the University of León (ULE), with the collaboration of the Institute of Humanism and Classical Tradition and were aimed at students of many of the disciplines taught at the ULE, as well as interested members of the general public.
They were a series of dialogues and fieldworks that addressed some essential questions of the relationship between humans and non-humans, nature and machine. They welcomed philosophers, artists, villagers, former miners, students and interested members of the public in an invitation to think together and imagine ourselves beyond a particular cultural place and historical time.
Below, we make public the summary videos of each of the parts that comprised the programme of the conference.
