TROPOS 2025 closes this edition with two sound and performing art proposals in Cerezales del Condado.

The Fundación Cerezales Antonino y Cinia (FCAYC) puts the finishing touch to TROPOS 2025, the summer festival dedicated to sound experimentation and performing arts in dialogue with the rural environment. The closing will come with two proposals - one scenic and one musical - with free access and open to all audiences.

On Friday, the company Minusmal will open the festival weekend with Nil, a puppet show that becomes a scenic-musical experience full of metaphors. On stage, a “box” that is impossible to open embodies the inner conflict, transformed into an enigma that repeats itself endlessly. Electronic artefacts, constructive and destructive dynamics, delicate string puppets and the presence of an actor intertwine in a meticulous proposal that turns gesture into language and movement into a poetic-sound journey.TROPOS. SO will close this year's festival with a proposal that combines tradition and the avant-garde. The Sara Fontan -violin and drums, together with Amorante -a project by the Basque ethnomusicologist and multi-instrumentalist Iban Urizar, present a performance in which tradition is revisited from a contemporary perspective. The work with analogue resources is taken to the limit, creating a sound space based on textures, essential rhythms and improvisation.
