After our visit to Peñaranda de Bracamonte where we were able to make initial contact with the Fundación Germán Sánchez Ruipérez and its two centres there (QUOTE Y CDS), yesterday, 18 June, we received two representatives of these centres at the Foundation.
The aim of these visits is to start a collaboration between the two institutions in different programmes related to the promotion of reading and the insertion of ICT in rural areas.
On this occasion, the day consisted of a previous meeting at the Foundation and two appointments in Boñar: in the IES Pablo Díez and in the CEIP de Valles School. There, a series of programmes implemented by the FGSR that could be implemented with the mediation of the Cerezales Antonino y Cinia Foundation were presented to the board of directors of the two schools.
The Fundación Germán Sánchez Ruipérez presented some of its projects, which cover teacher, parent and pupil training and the improvement of school libraries. The following were mentioned as possibilities The suitcases of knowledgeo, the Videoconferences withScience or the parents' school.
In short, the aim is to offer schools in the area the possibility of improving their offer and their training, developing programmes that improve the use of the technological tools available to them, such as digital blackboards, internet connection, educational platforms, etc.
After this second meeting, the actions that would be of value in the rural area in which we are located are being defined and everything points to the fact that the synergies between the two institutions will continue and bear fruit during the next school year.
