The festival opens on 1 August with the circus and dance piece by the company Pequeña Victoria Cen and Miguel Barreto. Entitled “Excuse me if I introduce you as if I don't know you.” this piece explores identity through two bodies that play with symmetry, duplicity and ambiguity to ask ourselves how we relate to others and to what surrounds us. This co-production has been awarded the Talía Prize of the Spanish Academy of Performing Arts for Best Circus Show 2024. The show, which is free and open to all audiences, will take place this Friday 1 August at 20:00 in the Viesca Recreation Area, in Vegas del Condado.
