In this theoretical and practical workshop, we want to introduce those interested in the eighth art to the world of photography. We are going to learn its history and some basic concepts such as lighting, time, referents and message (or the poetic of the image). Most important technical elements are going to be analysed: types of cameras and lenses, the relation between the depth of field, speed and ISO, lighting, image composition, colour versus b/w, the digital edition of images… Moreover, we are doing some exercises with studio lighting.
