Bio-building is ideally a hand made technic in which just natural materials are used. It is environmentally friendly and also respect local traditions. It is still used in some regions, especially in the South Hemisphere.

The workshop aims to serve as an introduction to some procedures and to develop a bio-building project. Normally we will use hay bales covered with mud to build or restore walls, benches, tables or ovens.

Participants will also walk along the village locating examples of this kind of constructions and picking natural materials in order to photograph and classify them, creating a box of samples.
