Víctor Antón Group was born after the concern of guitarist and composer Víctor Antón (Zamora, Spain), who is surrounded by good friends and excellent musicians to play original compositions, recorded in his first work as a composer and soloist, Motion, published in early 2016 by the label Gaztelupeko / Hotsak – Errabal. The band emerges around the Superior Music Center of the Basque Country (Musikene) where the compositions and the first rehearsals are generated.

They have participated in different festivals and venues such as Bogui Jazz, Blue Note Club, Ponferrada Jazz Festival, Burgos Evolution Museum, Medina del Campo Jazz Festival, among others.

The original themes and arrangements of this project are nourished by the traditional jazz and bebop language but at the same time looking for new ingredients that directly connect with the most contemporary jazz and even fusion and rock.
