Jorge Blasco Gallardo is a writer and independent researcher. His main interest and field of work is everything that has to do with the verb to archive and all its different meanings.
One of his most well known projects is Archive Cultures (2000-2005), a walk around the file in different media.
He has curated or directed several projects among which stand out
Urban Imaginaries from Latin America by the writer Armando Silva both in its edition in Barcelona and in Bogotá; A UA CRAG to the WALL; TOC: a collection of its own, etc.
Its latest edition is the book ARXIVAR [ARCHIVE], for La Virreina Centre de la Imatge, Barcelona.
At present, he continues his path as a researcher preparing several exhibition and editorial projects.
