We will delve into the world of fungi, discovering their biology, ecology and essential participation in the correct functioning of nature.
14th May
Field trip Pola de Gordón
In our unique field trip, we will learn about the conditions necessary for the appearance of different mushrooms and their relationship with the different habitats. During the walk, we will focus on the keys to identifying the main groups of fungi.
17th May
Mushroom cultivation in alpacas
Applying the knowledge acquired about the biology of some fungi, we will carry out the traditional cultivation of saprophytic species in alpacas, creating a new cultivation space linked to our vegetable garden.
25th May
Inoculation of mycelium in orchards
In this last session, we delve deeper into the relationships between species and the symbiotic support that exists between plants and fungi. An experimental session to improve the soil in our vegetable garden and the growth of our Solanaceae.
